I) Presentation of the Airline : Europ' Airlines is a virtual airline Company with passenger and cargo flights in Europe and the Mediterranean, and some long haul flights to the rest of the world. Europ' Airlines has the automatic management of data on the current flights, the pilot's status, statistics and many other things through the black box. This black box are automatically transmitted to the central server of the company in real time. The server scans the flight status of each pilot to control the realism, the checklist, the pilot's position but also updates in live the data of each pilote. So the Europ' Airlines website can post these informations on the differents pages. II) Recruitment : The pilot's recruitment is open 24h a day. However A délay is necessary . To apply, simply register on the site and fill your registration form (go to the menu "Pilote - Become a pilot"). Next, a human ressource manager will contact each new "rookie" on MSN, IRC or TeamSpeak. The manager will note all necessary information regarding the pilot's flight simulator, hardware, communications sofware, and as well the pilot's knowledge, experience, motivation, attendance, etc. III) Communications : Europ' Airlines has put on the TeamSpeak server for the communication between pilots and has also established three IRC channels (french, international and staff). Pilots must have at least TeamSpeak and IRC for the multi-player mode, otherwise it is optional but recommended for the activity of the airline. The TeamSpeak software (client version) is included on the official website. www.goteamspeak.com. The IRC software is also included on the official website. www.mirc.com. The tutorials of these softwares are available on our website (go to the menu "Manuals - IRC" and "Manuals - TeamSpeak). IV) Flights : To perform a flight, each pilot must have the Microsoft© Flight Simulator X (Standard or Deluxe version). The flight simulator must be updated to the SP2 version of higher. Earlier versions of Flight Simulator is not allowed in our airline. For more realism, you can also use the free or paid software (or add-ons) of Flight Simulator X, such as ActiveSky, Traffic X, etc. For the operation of the airline, each pilot must install the "Black Box" module (MANDATORY) which uptade the airline's data. This module, created by Europ' Airlines will be provided to each pilote ranked "rookie". For regular and cargo flights (EUx and EEx), each pilot has to perform it in solo mode through "Free Flight" of FSX after the aircraft selection, flight plan, etc. Before the beginning, each aircraft must be positioned on the departure airport gate, engine off, and then turn the "Black Box" on. The "rookie" training courses and lessons (ELx) can be done on the "multi-players" mode of FSX with an instructor who will create the server. A GameSpy account is required for the courses and tests. For the missions and the free multi-pilots flights (EMx and ELx), each pilot must have a GameSpy account, and everyone ends up in the room given by the network organizer. |
